As of February 2026, we are working on ways for you to get more out of your maps, from gating maps to password protecting maps.

Your maps just got more customizable. We’ve added three layers of styling — Panel styles, List styles, and Spot styles — so you have more control over how your map looks and behaves, without adding complexity. 📍 Locator is a new panel style built for search-first experiences. Visitors can search by location and sort results by distance, making it ideal for store locators, directories, and maps where people need to find places by ZIP code. 🗺 Popup Modal mode is also new. It keeps the panel collapsed by default, giving you a cleaner, full-map experience while still letting visitors open details when they need them. 🗂 On the list side, you can now choose between No Image, Small, Medium (the previous default), or Large styles, depending on how much visual emphasis you want each spot to have. 👆 You can now toggle “tap to interact” on or off for embeds, giving you more control over how maps behave on your site. 🚀 And Business and Advanced users can now add up to 1,500 spots per map, making it easier to build larger directories and city-scale guides.

We know you wanted to share your maps, so now you can create map animations, and download images of your maps. Click the export button to create your map animation or image.

Now, users can chat with Atlas maps without having to log in. Your map title and description also show up on the panel. Keep the feedback coming!

Now, you will see the name of your map in the URL. This will help you get more traffic from search engines. We also made some improvements to the SEO of our maps. Old URLs will still work, but we recommend updating your links to the new format in your link in bio and embeds.

🗺️ Atlas Beta - Turn your map into an AI map with Atlas. Just switch your maps display type to Atlas, and your users can ask questions based on the info in your map. 🤖 Improved AI - We also improved the AI chat experience inside the map editor so you can get better results.

Our Spring 2025 update introduces four productivity enhancements to streamline your mapping workflow. 📊 Business users can now connect Google Analytics to track map performance metrics and benefit from our redesigned import system with two modes: "Match" for complete synchronization and "Only Add" to preserve existing data while adding new entries. 📄 All users can now integrate Notion databases directly with PamPam for seamless data management and use our new Display Picker to instantly change the visual style of all map pins simultaneously with a single click.

Now, Business plan users can create their own custom color themes to match their map to their brand. Plus, mobile embeds have a new option to allow for search and filters.

🤖 Agents (Beta) – Instantly get AI-powered recommendations on a map by asking questions inside PamPam. Powered by ChatGPT, Wikipedia, and more—so you can discover places effortlessly. 🗺️ Atlas (Waitlist) – A dynamic AI-powered map for brands and communities to share and visualize local knowledge. Built on your data, built for your audience. Navigation - A sidebar so you can navigate from your profile, to chat and more. If you have map embeds, the sidebar wont appear there. Business customers can hide the sidebar for logged out users.

Maps now have more green areas, and more color themes that you can choose from.

Labels appear more frequently and in the right spot. You can add filters to your map so people can find what theyre looking for. And you can set places as landmarks, so that those spots will always be more prominent than the other spots on your map.
