Frederica Falls

When you park your car the track entry is ahead of you. Walk to the sign and tack the rough-looking track on the right. Don't go straight ahead. Follow the narrow track for about 30 minutes until the track crosses a fire trail. The falls are about 50m ahead on the right. It's fairly overgrown and there are limited spots to set up for a picnic. In summer the lagoon offers great swimming and just about any time of year, it is a lovely spot to relax and have lunch. Return the same way or follow the often very steep fire trail uphill to the right to the end of San Jose Street. You can visit Frederica Falls as part of the longer Dante's Glen walk.
