Creux du Van is a dramatic natural amphitheater in the Jura Mountains and is famous for its steep limestone cliffs and wide panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and forests. The rocky rim stretches for more than a kilometer and reaches heights of up to 160 meters above the valley floor.
