Biotech Heights is an innovation hub for food and material biotechnology launched by Tetra Pak and Lund University in April 2026. Based at Kemicentrum in Lund — within the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) — the hub gives startups, researchers, and industry partners access to 1,400 m² of creative spaces and Sweden's only university-based prepilot plant, operating 100–500 litre fermentation and bioprocess equipment. Biotech Heights is already hosting partners like Re:meat (cultivated meat) and serves as a physical meeting point where academia, public sector, and industry collaborate to advance fermentation and bioprocess technologies for the foods and materials of the future.
