Sony Lund is one of Sony’s global research and development hubs, focused on imaging, sensing, connectivity, and AI-based technologies. Originating from Sony Mobile, the Lund site now plays a key role in developing camera, audio, and smart-device platforms across Sony’s global product portfolio. The center also collaborates with Lund University, Ideon Science Park, and local tech startups on research, prototyping, and open-innovation initiatives within the region’s deep-tech cluster. Sony Startup Acceleration Program (SAP) is Sony's open-innovation and incubation platform for entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures worldwide.
