Freedmen’s Town Conservancy Visitor Center

Take a walking tour of Houston's historic Freedmen's town. Tour row houses from the 1800s and brick lined streets. The Gregory School is nearby - once a school for the children of freedmen's town, now an archive library preserving the Houston's Black written and photographic history.
