Podgórze is a historic district of Krakow located on the southern side of the Vistula River. It is known for its calm streets industrial heritage and important wartime history. The district includes sites linked to the former Jewish Ghetto such as the Ghetto Heroes Square and the remains of the Ghetto Wall. Today Podgórze combines historical landmarks green spaces and a growing creative atmosphere.
