Jagiellonian University in Krakow is one of the oldest universities in Europe and a major center of learning in Poland. It was founded in 1364 and it has historic buildings peaceful courtyards and long academic traditions. Many important scholars studied here including Nicolaus Copernicus and the university continues to play an important role in research and education.
