The first kosher bakery to open in Los Angeles, Schwartz Bakery has been turning out traditional Jewish baked goods since 1954, when the Schwartz family first fired up the ovens. Now run by the Moroccan-born Sibony family for three decades, the bakery supplies everyone from luxury hotels to neighborhood synagogues with its challah, rugelach, and bagels.
