Frank Longordo transplanted his New Jersey baking tradition to this Kerr Avenue storefront in 1985, where handcrafted cannoli and custard eclairs still sell out by mid-morning. Rob Cooley now runs the shop with several bakers who worked alongside Longordo at Chester's Bakery, turning out Italian-American pastries and towering custom cakes that have made this Port City fixture North Carolina's 2025 Small Business of the Year.
