A towering triple-decker Sloppy Joe—rye bread layered with deli meat, Swiss, coleslaw, and Russian dressing—has drawn lines out the door of this Millburn Avenue shop since 1946. Each sandwich gets cut into three diagonal pieces, including the prized center wedge that regulars debate saving for last or devouring first. The rye is sliced to order, the coleslaw is mayo-heavy, and the ritual hasn't changed in nearly eight decades.
