Germano 'Jim' Hasslocher turned a bicycle rental stand and watermelon cart at Brackenridge Park into a charbroiled burger empire starting in 1947. Nearly eight decades later, his charcoal-broiled burgers, onion rings, and round-the-clock breakfast draw Alamo City natives to this Broadway location at any hour.
