Mama Cozza's • 1965

Former Anaheim police officer Frank Cozza Sr. left the force in 1965 to open this Italian kitchen, where his family still hand-rolls pasta and simmers sauce from scratch. Guy Fieri brought cameras from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2010 to capture the Cozza family's old-world recipes in action. Generations of Orange County families return for the same red-checkered-tablecloth warmth and platters of baked mostaccioli their parents remember.
