Named for the red carriage that brought General Marquis de Lafayette to the Falls, this English Tudor inn has perched above the roaring Upper Rapids since 1923. Built by William Schoellkopf and Charles Peabody to recreate the atmosphere of England's Bell Inn, the AAA Three Diamond restaurant serves American fare and award-winning seafood beneath leaded-glass windows and wood-burning fireplaces.
