In South Jersey's countryside since 1706, this colonial inn has fed Revolutionary War soldiers and travelers bound for Philadelphia or the shore through three centuries of American history. The Steak Centerton—an eight-ounce filet crowned with lump crabmeat and béarnaise—stands alongside the famous Centerton Salad, loaded with five cheeses and garlic dressing, in six fireside dining rooms where original wooden beams and walls still stand.
