Lou and Felice Laico transformed a residential house on Jersey City's westside into a brick-oven pizzeria in 1972, feeding neighborhood regulars and local college professors with honest Italian cooking. Three generations later, the family still runs the kitchen from that same Greenville street, turning out eggplant rollatini, chicken francese, and a homemade salad dressing that keeps old-timers coming back. The dining rooms have evolved from unassuming to understated elegance, but the warm, neighborly welcome remains unchanged.
