Before Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, this narrow Monmouth Street shop was already slinging subs doused in a secret family blend of oil, vinegar, and Italian seasoning. The Turkey Cranberry draws pilgrims back from across the country, but the real buzz centers on the Pickle Sub—any sandwich wrapped in giant pickles instead of bread. Owner Tish Reddington still keeps the same small-town feel where regulars' names are remembered and each half-sub comes wrapped in a perfect plastic baggie so nothing drips.
