Swiss immigrant Charles Wurster opened this European-style bakery in 1970, and five decades later, it still turns out over 200 scratch-made items daily. The custom cakes have made Swiss Chalet a Morris County landmark, but regulars know to come early for the kronuts, Danish, and cannoli. Stop in for breakfast or lunch in the spacious café, but save room for strawberry shortcake.
