The 150-year-old mahogany bar at this Woodhaven institution has stood since before the Civil War ended, pouring drinks continuously since 1829 and earning its title as New York City's oldest operating tavern. Once called The Blue Pump Room, it gained Hollywood fame as a backdrop in Goodfellas, but locals know it for the original draught system still pulling pints beneath tin ceilings that have witnessed nearly two centuries of neighborhood life.
