In a former White Castle on Fort Street, generations have lined up since 1929 for the same original-style sliders that built this family-run Detroit institution. Motz's still presses fresh beef onto the griddle the old-fashioned way, turning out thin, onion-steamed patties that arrive by the half-dozen. The recipe hasn't changed in over 90 years, and neither has the line out the door.
