The Black Label Burger draws pilgrims to this Greenwich Village tavern where Ernest Hemingway, e.e. cummings, and Eugene O'Neill once drank through the decades since 1937. Keith McNally revived the space in 2009, transforming the literary haunt into a Parisian-style steakhouse that honors its storied past with vintage murals and red leather banquettes. That burger—a towering stack of dry-aged beef—remains the dish everyone orders.
