Brothers Jimmy and Chris Meskouris opened this family-owned burger saloon on the Upper East Side in 1972, naming it after a National Geographic article about Wyoming they found under the floorboards during renovation. The dark, winding dining room features stained glass lighting and old western movie posters that create an old-school saloon atmosphere unchanged for over five decades. The legendary 7-ounce burgers—including the Mac'n Cheese Burger and the Western—are made with house-aged grass-fed beef and served with their famous caramelized fried onions.
