A New York City firefighter named Joe Donovan and his father transformed the corner Clover Leaf Bar into this Woodside landmark in 1966, and it's been pouring pints on Roosevelt Avenue ever since. The Shepherd's Pie draws crowds, but regulars swear by the award-winning burgers served in a room warmed by a working fireplace. Live music still fills the bar most nights, just as it did when Joe first opened the doors.
