When friends Johnny Mortillaro and Vincent DeGrezia opened this corner Bensonhurst pizzeria in 1950, they pioneered something radical: selling New York pizza by the slice. Seventy-six years later, their twice-cooked crispy grandma pie — rectangular, thin-crusted, and reheated to order — still packs the house.
