A fire couldn't stop this Paradise Valley landmark — after flames consumed the original 1902 structure, Abe Armstrong rebuilt it in 1907, shipping the ornate back bar all the way from St. Louis. Born as a depot stop for rail travelers bound for Yellowstone, the saloon drew an unforgettable mix: cowboys, miners, ranchers, and tourists drinking side by side under one roof. That same Montana grit endures today, fueled by hearty plates, cold beer, and a summer concert series that packs the house.
