Opened May 4, 2026. The 2,400-square-foot two-story townhouse was designed by EssilorLuxottica's internal creative team and opened as a Met Gala after-party venue, with a live performance by Oscar and the Wolf and global ambassador Jennie in attendance. Inside, satin metal curves, mirrored ceilings, and deep red floors set a continuous environment where eyewear is placed alongside vinyl records, books, and collected objects rather than in a conventional retail layout. A food and beverage program led by chef Pasquale Cozzolino offers globally influenced small plates and daytime offerings. Ray-Ban has been explicit that this is not a flagship, not a concept store, and not a venue. It is, in the brand's own words, "a place to return to." That framing is worth taking seriously. The transaction is only one moment. The real value is the time people choose to spend with the brand. Ray-Ban House is a useful provocation about what happens when a brand stops optimizing for the sale and starts optimizing for the relationship — and whether that model can scale beyond a single townhouse in SoHo.
