Vaals is a town in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It lies near the borders of Germany and Belgium which gives it an international atmosphere. The town is known for the Drielandenpunt where the three countries meet and for its hilly surroundings that are uncommon in most of the Netherlands. Vaals has historic buildings quiet streets and green landscapes with easy access to nearby Aachen and the wider Limburg hills.
