Fort St. Elmo is a historic star-shaped fortress located at the entrance of the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour. It played a key role in the Great Siege of 1565 and it still stands as a powerful symbol of Malta’s military history. The fort includes the National War Museum which displays important artifacts and stories from different periods. Its walls viewpoints and dramatic coastal setting also make it a striking photo spot for visitors.
