Fort Thüngen is a historic fortress in Luxembourg City located on the Kirchberg Plateau near Mudam museum. It was built in the 18th century as part of the city’s defensive system and features thick stone walls underground passages and restored towers. Today the fort hosts the Dräi Eechelen Museum which presents exhibitions about Luxembourg’s military past and the development of the nation.
