The Directorate of Aukštaitija National Park and Labanoras Regional Park manages two of the most scenic protected areas in Lithuania. It oversees forests lakes traditional villages and natural habitats that reflect the cultural and ecological richness of the region. One of the most distinctive attractions under its care is the Beekeeping Museum which is located near Stripeikiai. The museum presents the history of beekeeping traditional tools and old wooden hives shaped like human figures animals and mythological beings. Visitors can walk through the outdoor exhibition learn about the role of bees in local culture and explore a peaceful landscape filled with meadows and forest paths. The site combines nature heritage and education in a unique and welcoming way.
