Theatre Square is the central gathering place in the Old Town of Klaipėda and one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. The square is known for its open space historic buildings street cafés and cultural events that create a lively atmosphere throughout the year. The Klaipėda Drama Theatre stands on one side of the square and adds a strong artistic presence to the area. In the center is the Taravos Anikė sculpture which has become a symbol of the city. Theatre Square brings together history daily life and cultural energy in a setting that feels both elegant and welcoming.
