Elysian Rock Lookout

Gordon Falls Lookout

Overlooks the Jamison Valley with beautiful views of the waterfalls and surrounding cliffs.

Olympian Rock

Olympian Rock Lookout, offers stunning views of the Jamison Valley and Mount Solitary, particularly the "back" of the Three Sisters and Narrow Neck.

Tarpeian Rock

Tarpeian Rock Lookout is just off the Prince Henry Cliff Walk and can also be accessed directly. Tarpeian Rock Lookout was named after an Ancient Roman execution site. Murderers, traitors, perjurors, and larcenous slaves, if convicted they were flung from the cliff to their deaths.

Echo Point Lookout (Three Sisters)

Echo Point, located in Katoomba on the edge of the spectacular Jamison Valley, is home to the famous Three Sisters and is surrounded by a variety of bushwalks and amazing lookouts The Three Sisters are best seen from Echo Point lookout, perched on the edge of the escarpment. These three weathered sandstone peaks, rising nearly a kilometre above sea level, formed thousands of years ago through erosion. They are set among the cliffs of the Jamison Valley, and from the lookout, you’ll also be able to see other impressive rock formations including the Ruined Castle and Mount Solitary. The lookout is the gateway to many great walks, from the easy, family-friendly pathway out to the Three Sisters to the more challenging Giant Stairway that leads you down almost 1,000 stairs to the valley floor.

Cahills Lookout

Cahills Lookout offers breathtaking views of the Megalong and is a popular spot for photography and sightseeing, particularly at sunset. Picnic tables are available, but there are no toilets. The walk to the lookout is accessible has far as Boars Head Lookout.

Scenic World

Many of the experiences on offer at Scenic World are unique to this part of New South Wales and can be found nowhere else on earth. Which means that you're entering the record books every time you visit. Established in 1945, the family-owned business occupies prime real estate in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. The views extend to the Three Sisters and across canyons, and the attractions make the most of the outlook. On the Scenic Railway, jump aboard the world's steepest passenger train, travelling from the escarpment down 310 metres into the forest on a 52-degree rail incline. At the base, a web of hiking trails explores the Jamison Valley rainforest. Take the train's return trip, or catch the 545-metre Scenic Cableway back to the top.
