Activation projects led by Healthy Loddon Campaspe in Campaspe Shire to create healthy spaces, places and practices that support an increase in physical activity and healthy eating. Place-based activation projects are designed based on community-level data and local stakeholder and community engagement.

Formation of a planning group to look at creating a long term Food Systems network in the shire. Two community workshops were conducted at the Maryborough Community Hub in April and May 2023. Findings from the workshop were collated into a paper/recommendations.

Guided Outdoor Exercise Equipment sessions were delivered across Dunolly, Carisbrook, and Maryborough, supporting 69 participants – primarily older adults – to build confidence using public fitness equipment safely and independently.

This 55+ program was initially launched as a four-week trial, however the program quickly grew in popularity and is now a regular weekly session. It offers older adults a fun, low-impact way to stay active and socially connected.
The Friday Night Lighting project turned on the lights at three community sport spaces in Maryborough, making ovals and courts safer and more accessible for evening use. Community feedback highlighted increased feelings of safety and more opportunities for casual play and training after hours.
