Wascoe Siding miniature-railway runs on the first Sunday of the month from February to December. Wascoe Siding in the Blue Mountains is a beloved miniature railway park located in Blaxland, operating since 1966 and run by the Blue Mountains Railway Society. The site, once a disused railway cutting, was transformed from a swampy car wrecker’s dump into an engaging visitor attraction. Wascoe Siding features a 5-inch gauge railway with tracks, tunnels, viaducts, and working steam locomotives, offering train rides on the first Sunday of each month.
