As always we recommend an early start. Just east of the turnoff to Mount Wilson you'll see a sign to Pierces Pass". Take that and drive for about 700m down the dirt road until you get to the picnic/parking area. Pack a picnic or a snack and enjoy it looking up and down the Grose Valley, the views are amazing. There is no shade, so slip slop slap, wear a hat and carry plenty f water. NOTE: Keep well back from cliff edges, especially when taking photos, and supervise children at all times. Take extreme care as the cliffs are over 200m high and are unfenced.
