Èze is a hilltop village between Nice and Monaco known for its stone houses, narrow paths and sweeping views over the Mediterranean. Visitors climb through the steep streets to reach the Jardin Exotique where cactus terraces and lookout points create one of the most striking panoramas on the Riviera. The village has small art shops and cafés that invite slow exploration after the climb. Hikers can follow the Nietzsche Path which links the village with the seaside and offers a challenging walk with changing views of the cliffs and the sea. Èze combines quiet medieval charm with dramatic scenery which makes it a memorable stop along the coast.
