Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus is a ski resort located on Ounasvaara Hill next to the city of Rovaniemi. It offers downhill slopes cross country trails and year-round outdoor activities in a calm forested setting. The resort is easy to reach from the city and provides wide views over the surrounding landscape. In winter Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus is a popular place for skiing snowboarding and evening runs under clear Arctic skies where visitors may also see the Aurora Borealis.
