Odense ZOO is a family friendly zoo with animals from many regions of the world including big cats penguins giraffes and tropical birds. The paths lead through themed areas with open enclosures and greenery which creates a calm natural atmosphere. Visitors can watch feedings join guided talks take part in children’s activities or enjoy a boat ride along the river that runs beside the zoo. It is an easy full day outing with a mix of learning play and close animal encounters.
