Amager Bakke is the facility that carries CopenHill on its roof and is one of Copenhagen’s most striking examples of clean energy design. The building is a waste to energy plant that turns household waste into power while its sloping green roof offers skiing hiking and open views of the city. Inside the plant advanced systems clean the emissions which makes it one of the most efficient facilities of its kind. The combination of industrial purpose outdoor activity and modern architecture makes Amager Bakke a memorable place to visit.
