Plaža Sveti Jakov is a beautiful pebbled beach located just outside Dubrovnik’s Old Town, known for its peaceful setting and impressive views of the city walls and Lokrum Island. The beach sits at the bottom of a long staircase which keeps it quieter than many of the more central beaches. The water is clear and deep near the shore which makes it great for swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the natural surroundings. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available and there is a small beach bar where visitors can enjoy drinks or simple snacks while staying close to the sea. The atmosphere is calm and scenic especially in the late afternoon when the sunlight reflects warmly on the water and the city in the distance. Plaža Sveti Jakov offers a mix of tranquility, natural beauty and stunning views that make it one of Dubrovnik’s most charming seaside spots.
