The Greeting to the Sun is a modern waterfront installation in Zadar that celebrates light, energy and the beauty of the Adriatic coast. It consists of a large circular glass platform built into the promenade where hundreds of solar panels absorb sunlight during the day. As night falls the surface lights up with shifting colors and patterns that move gently across the glass creating a peaceful and mesmerizing display. The installation sits right beside the Sea Organ which makes the area especially atmospheric as soft music from the waves blends with the glowing lights. The Greeting to the Sun has become one of Zadar’s most iconic sights and offers a magical place to enjoy warm evenings, open sea views and the city’s famous sunsets.
