Phoenicia Library sits among the high peaks of the Catskill Mountains in a little yellow building at the heart of the village. Recently rebuilt, they say it's the first Passive House designed, energy efficient library in the U.S. Their children’s area offers a cozy spot for kids to play with the library's collection of Catskill-inspired toys, including a pretend campfire.
