Once a small collection housed in the Masonic Temple, the Kinderhook Memorial Library is a hopping literary hub for a village with a surprising amount of successful writers who live there. Expanded in 2018, the library now offers sunlit reading nooks, quiet study spaces, and a calendar filled with such interesting events as the Festival of the Unknown, the Miniature Ren-Faire, Chinese calligraphy demonstrations, and, very relevant to most Kinderhookers, Tax Credits for Historic Properties workshops.
