The Sisi Museum is located in the Hofburg in Vienna and it is dedicated to the life of Empress Elisabeth who was known as Sisi. The museum presents personal objects clothing letters portraits and items that belonged to the Empress which offer insight into her personality habits and daily routines. The exhibition shows both the glamour of imperial life and the challenges Sisi faced including her strict beauty routines her passion for travel and her desire for independence. The museum is connected to the Kaiserappartements and the Imperial Silver Collection which together create a detailed picture of the Habsburg court.
