The Liechtenstein Garden Palace is an elegant Baroque palace located in the district of Alsergrund and it is surrounded by a large landscaped park. The palace was built in the early eighteenth century and it served as a residence for the princely family of Liechtenstein. Its interior features grand halls detailed frescoes fine stucco work and an impressive art collection that includes masterpieces from the early modern period. The surrounding garden offers quiet paths old trees and open lawns that create a peaceful atmosphere close to the city center. Today the palace hosts cultural events concerts and private functions which highlight its historic and artistic significance.
