UNO City also known as the Vienna International Centre is one of the four official headquarters of the United Nations and it forms a modern architectural landmark on the Danube in Vienna. The complex consists of several curved high rise buildings arranged around open plazas which creates a distinctive futuristic layout. Inside the center hosts offices conference rooms and international organizations that work on global issues such as energy development nuclear safety and humanitarian affairs. The surrounding area includes Donau City the Danube Tower and green riverside paths which give the district a bright open and modern atmosphere. UNO City is an important symbol of Vienna’s international role and its commitment to diplomacy science and cooperation.
