Bisamberg is a low hill on the northern edge of Vienna and it forms a quiet green landscape of vineyards gentle slopes and open views. The area is known for its peaceful walking paths wine growing tradition and wide scenery overlooking the Danube and the city. The slopes are covered with vineyards that produce regional wines such as Grüner Veltliner and visitors can enjoy relaxed hikes through fields forests and small wine villages. Bisamberg is less crowded than the hills on the opposite side of the river which gives it a calm rural atmosphere close to Vienna. It is an ideal place for easy hiking wine tasting and sunset views over the landscape.
