The Mozarthaus Museum is located in the historic center of Vienna and it is the only surviving apartment where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived for a longer period. He stayed here from 1784 to 1787 during one of the most productive phases of his life. The museum presents his world through original rooms multimedia installations letters manuscripts and exhibitions that explain his music daily life and connections within Viennese society. Visitors can explore the apartment where Mozart composed several important works including many of his famous chamber pieces. The museum offers an intimate look at the life creativity and artistic environment of one of the greatest composers in history.
