Startup Chowdown is one of the largest gathering of tech startups in Atlanta, averaging 100+ people each event. No formal networking – just a casual, catered lunch. Grab some food and a seat, and introduce yourself to someone new. Want to be a part of it? Here’s what you need to know: Startup Chowdown is held on the first and third Friday of the month (with a few exceptions) at 12pm in our Event Center. The line often goes out the door! Get there at 11:45am to get at the head of the line. Not a Village member? We would love to have you! You can purchase tickets in advance or at the door. Tickets are only $10! Please note: we do NOT accept cash. Stay for Pitch Practice after lunch at 1pm. Free of charge, meet other entrepreneurs in the Pitch Practice Boardroom in the back of the Event Center where you can network, provide feedback, and practice your pitch! Not sure how to get to the Village? Get directions here. Paid visitor parking is available in our parking deck. Don’t park in the Old Navy parking lot or your car will get booted! The Village is also a convenient 5 minute walk from the Buckhead MARTA station.
Details Our civic hack night is a welcoming, open space for civic-minded, social good tech projects. Although writing code can be a component of our projects, we invite people of all backgrounds, skill levels, and experiences to join our volunteer effort to make Atlanta a more inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible community. For those interested in participating in projects, we will be continuing work on our current projects. Even if you aren't able to code (yet!), we invite all those interested to stop by, ask questions, and participate however they feel most comfortable! RSVP for this event and we hope to see you there! If you have access to a laptop we recommend you bring it, but by no means is one required.
Artificial Intelligence is a force that is changing the technology landscape (and world) as we know it. Do you want to be left behind? Come to the AI Builders meetup to keep your finger on the pulse! We will cover a wide range of topics at the meetups: the latest cool AI tools you can use; how to integrate AIs into your projects via APIs; customizing agents and models. No useless philosophizing and vapid thought leaders here, only straight-up real AI talk! 🎉 Sponsored by C0MPLÉX1 and Delineator Join us on the second Monday of every month for learning, engaging discussion, and networking in the AI space. All skill levels welcome! You can propose ideas for discussion topics, demos, and other content here: https://github.com/ATLBitLab/calendar/
A Conversation for C-Suite Leaders, Business Owners, and Executives If you’re steering the vision and carrying the responsibility for your company’s future, this discussion is designed for you. Growth doesn’t stall because of just systems or sales. The real ceiling is often invisible, hidden in leadership blind spots, unspoken team dynamics, or missed strategic pivots.
Talk Like a Visionary: Storytelling That Scales You’ve got the idea. The vision. The mission. But if you can’t explain it clearly—or in a way that moves people—you’re stuck. This high-impact session teaches three storytelling power moves to help founders, leaders, and changemakers speak with clarity, pitch without rambling, and spark action. Whether you’re trying to raise money, grow a team, or stand out in a crowded market—your story is your strategy. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to: - Start with the moment, not the market - Make your audience the main character - End with a bang, not a blur This isn’t fluff. It’s a framework that works. Come ready to rethink your go-to pitch and leave with a clearer, bolder way to talk about your vision. Erin Peterson is a 28-time Emmy-winning journalist, public speaker, and founder of Scout Stories—a storytelling studio that helps visionary leaders turn their message into momentum. Her work has changed federal laws, been featured on shows like HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and helped organizations raise revenue. Erin’s speaking style blends journalistic clarity with contagious conviction—teaching you to speak with purpose, connect with emotion, and lead with story. 2025 Women + Tech Meetup Sessions: Our goal for Women + Tech in 2025 is to focus on the purposeful community part of our mission.
