Port d’Envalira is the highest paved mountain pass in the Pyrenees, reaching 2408 meters. It lies between the parishes of Encamp and Canillo and is an important connection to the Grandvalira ski area. The pass is known for its dramatic alpine scenery, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking views over the surrounding peaks. In winter it becomes a key access point for skiing, while in summer it attracts cyclists, motorbike riders, and travelers who enjoy high mountain landscapes. Because of its altitude the weather can change quickly and snow can appear even in late spring. The nearby Envalira Tunnel offers an alternative route during harsh winter conditions. Port d’Envalira is a memorable spot for visitors who want to experience the high Pyrenees and enjoy open panoramic views.
